- Located in southern Lafourche Ph., about 50 miles south of New Orleans.
- Texaco discovered the field in 1931 and drilled 527 wells. Current net production averages 307 BOPD and 1.1 MMMCFD.
- Leeville field was created by a shallow piercement dome with salt at 3,500'. A large growth fault system crosses the field and provides the trapping mechanism for the reserves.
- Over 108 MMBO and 240 BCFG produced to date.
- Deep (>10,000’) potential may exceed 100+ BCFG in salt flank and sub-salt traps.
Acquired all of the retained deep rights below approximately 12,950’ originally held by Chevron.
- Dune has a 40% non-operated working interest position in 8,300 acres.
- Acquired a license to 20 square miles of 3D seismic data.
